Ahh I'm so proud of myself. Two sets in two days, woopwoop! Haha. D's sick like she seriously looks horrible so I'm making the sets for a while. I love how the black tote gets a little more edgy with the motorcycle jacket with studs. Paired with skinny jeans, union jack doc martens, and some large sunglasses, you'll be walking down the streets with a lot more attitude. Hope you find your inner bad-girl with this outfit :)

Valentine's Day is fast approaching! So we thought why not celebrate by creating romantic sets all through February! Yay! Be on the lookout for our what to wear suggestions.
Today, we have an outfit that would be perfect for a dinner with that special someone. And we even recommended on ooh la la perfume <3 Love the girliness of the peeptoe shoes and bows.

This set combines three of my favorite things: Greek Mythology, Alexander McQueen, and pomegranates. It is based off of the tale of Hades and Persephone when he tricked her into becoming the Queen of the Underworld by eating pomegranates. I think the story is horrible but made an awesome set!

I woke up today feeling sad. I sat through school feeling sad. Came home, did homework and piano, and still felt sad. Thank Dawkins I have polyvore to lose myself in. Feel a lot more hakuna matata now :)
I paired a gorgeous asymmetrical light rose taupe top with patterned leggings tucked into light brown booties. Simple outfit, completed with simple accessories like a watch and some post earrings. I think the finished look is very casual, yet more mature than just a regular sweater.

So I know that this isn't a typical contest entry, but one of my favorite holiday movies is the Nightmare Before Christmas. It's dark, it's different, and I love it. I tried to convey the feeling of the odd mixture between Jack's world and Santa's by using dark maroon, as if the darkness was tainting Santa's joy. I also gave the outfit some gothic prints and accessories, but kept it simple. And when I saw this Nightmare Before Christmas pocket watch, I just had to put it in here :) Enjoy!

So, this is our first attempt at an art and expression set rather than a fashion one. It's very spring/ nature- like and I absolutely adore the picture of Elle Fanning. It gives a serene- naturey look. Also, if you have any requests for a set of ours, message us or comment below.

One look at those Guess shoes, and I was like, those are awesome, and I need to make a set. Now. This set was COMPLETELY out of my comfort zone. I'm used to soft pinks and baby blues. I've swapped those for bright turquoise, neon pinks and... leopard print. Haha, this was actually very fun to make and definately challenged me since I'm not used to this at all. I pieced together some very classy accessories, a unique dress and those daring Guess shoes to represent a collision/juxtaposition in oneself. If you like it, give us a heart, and if you realllly love it, follow us please! We promise to show some more sides of foreverxfireflies :)

One of my favorite songs of all times is "If I Die Young" by The Band Perry. It's not about dying but rather about all the experiences we have when we are living. Sometimes, lives are cut short, but we have to enjoy what we have. Every man can die but not every man can live.

The reason why we made this set was because J's going on vacation anD because of T-swift :) I love traveling and exploring new places and I wanted this set to portray the feeling of going away. Don't you love the pop of color the red shoes give to the outfit? So while I'm gone, D will take over with the set making. Think she can handle it? :)
 
If you didn't already know, we are obsessed with Taylor Swift's Red album right now, and we've been trying to add the pops of red into out sets. It's a bold color and we think it looks gorgeous with my other color obsession, sepia. (Is that a color?)
 
From D-- This set was about that one person, the one who we would travel the world to see. The person that is worth eating airline food and cramped road trips for. We don't know where they are going, but we'll be there for them. Anytime. Anywhere.

So D was being her weird self again and composed a poem while trying to fall asleep.

We then turned her poem into polyvore form. Simple. Elegant. Wistful.
